Back in the fall of 2003, I received my first stunt kite, an
Adrenaline, but never flew it much. A vacation to the outer banks in the summer of 2005 finally got me hooked. I started flying regularly (every weekend) after that and have had a great time ever since. Being the only freestyle flier in Destin Florida, I have had to learn everything by watching videos and brute force. Thanks to the outstanding discussion forum at Gone with the wind kites, and lots of encouragement, I can now perform just about all of the basic freestyle tricks. I've also gone through quite a few kites - you can see my thoughts on each below. |
